Until I reached the age of 40, I was always on a mission to explore and understand how much I know. Today, in my late 50’s, I have become fully aware of how much I don’t know or understand… Perhaps, this is the reason that I am so much more curious, passionate and eager to learn about life than I ever was before. My wife Orna and I have had the pleasure of living our dreams for 30 years now. Some dreams have had happier endings than others, but we have learned to always count our blessings, and we are truly blessed…
We have two wonderful children, Chen and Aviv. Both have grown up to be kind and warm human beings, people you enjoy being around. I can honestly say that the world looks better with them than without them. We are also blessed by more than one hundred people that we proudly call the “Yvel Family”. These are the ones who take care of us and the Yvel brand, and we happily take care of them in return. They are the reason for all of our success, our true family.
We also have you, our close friends and loyal customers. Thanks to you, Orna and I have been able to indulge our dreams and let our imaginations soar to create beautiful pieces of art that you cherish and wear and share with your families. We are grateful for loyalty and continued support. We are also blessed as the lucky ones who can embrace the vulnerable and talented Ethiopian community in Israel. Orna and I are devoted to this cause, and we proudly dedicated the Megemeria school of jewelry and art to this wonderful community of immigrants. We are proud to collaborate with them and help them to continue to build Megemeria as a successful brand.
But most of all – Orna and I have each other.
We could not ask for more.
As I grow older, I find myself asking, when is the last time I did something for the first time. Well, this wonderful, beautifully produced Yvel new website & online Style Magazine is a first for us, and we are extremely proud to share it with you. Long and difficult pregnancies bring beautiful children into this world And this new baby would not have been born without a few warm, kind and determined ‘mothers’ like Livnat Antebi and Chen Levy who have helped to make this possible.
In Hebrew, we have a saying that success has many parents but failure is an orphan. Well – this Website has lots of mommies and daddies…. We hope you will love it as much as we have enjoyed working on it!
With warm affections
